Neolith Sintered Stone Countertops

Neolith is a pioneering Sintered Stone surface, an architectural material crafted through a process of technological innovation that mimics the metamorphic forces of nature, but at an accelerated, controlled pace.

We take 100% natural raw materials—clays, feldspars, and mineral oxides—and subject them to extreme heat and pressure. The result is a surface that is not only breathtakingly beautiful but also exceptionally durable, versatile, and hygienic. It is the definitive choice for those who refuse to choose between aesthetics and performance.

About Neolith

Neolith is a sintered stone made in Spain, with slabs in marble, stone, concrete and metal looks, like Calacatta Gold, Nero Zimbabwe and Iron Corten shown above. It is made by pressing natural minerals and firing them at very high temperatures, and it is one of the best-known brands of sintered stone.

Why choose Neolith

  • Heat resistant, so hot pans will not mark it
  • UV stable, suitable for outdoor kitchens and braai areas
  • Very low porosity, no sealing and hard to stain
  • Large, thin slabs, for islands, wall cladding and tabletops

Porcelain is very hard on top but can chip if the edge takes a hard knock, so we usually recommend a mitred edge on kitchen tops. Compare it with other options on our porcelain and sintered stone page.
