- Area / suburb where the countertop will be installed
- Stone brand and colour (e.g. Caesarstone, Eezi Quartz, granite)
- Measurements of each top (e.g. 3000 x 600, 1200 x 600)
- Cut-outs needed (sink, hob/stove, plug points)
- When you need it installed
- Photos or a hand sketch if you have them

Frequently asked questions
How do I measure for a quote?
Measure the length and depth of each top in millimetres (e.g. 3000 x 600), and note where the sink, hob and plug points go. A hand sketch with photos is perfect. We do a final check-measure on site before cutting.
How long does installation take?
About 4 working days from your deposit to installation day. The installation itself usually takes one to two days.
Do you install outside Johannesburg?
Yes. We install across Gauteng and up to about 300 km from our Kya Sands workshop. Travel outside Johannesburg is charged per kilometre and included in your quote.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a 70% deposit is needed to order your slab, and the balance is paid on installation.
Which is better, granite or quartz?
Granite is natural and very heat-resistant. Quartz has more consistent colours and needs no sealing. See our Granite vs Quartz vs Marble guide for a full comparison.
Can I see a slab before ordering?
Our showroom has samples of each colour. To see a full slab, we can arrange a visit to the supplier’s warehouse by appointment.
