About Infinity porcelain
Infinity makes large-format porcelain slabs in marble, stone, concrete and metal looks, like Calacatta Oro, Classic Statuario, Pietra Grey and Metal Dark shown above. Porcelain is made by pressing natural minerals and firing them at very high temperatures, which makes it one of the most practical countertop surfaces.
Why choose porcelain
- Heat resistant, so hot pans will not mark it
- UV stable, suitable for outdoor kitchens and braai areas
- Very low porosity, no sealing and hard to stain
- Large, thin slabs, for islands, wall cladding and tabletops
Porcelain is very hard on top but can chip if the edge takes a hard knock, so we usually recommend a mitred edge on kitchen tops. Compare it with other options on our porcelain and sintered stone page.
